10X10 Global Artist Residency

The 10X10 Global Artist Residency is a creative laboratory for 20 Nigerian and African diasporic emerging artists, curators, community organizers, and creative producers working across various disciplines to collaborate, create and/or develop new projects.

The residency serves as a global creative think tank where artists will discuss challenges and opportunities of curating and producing artistic spaces throughout the Diaspora, experiment with new methods, and network.

Young and Emerging Artist Creative Residency

September 11-18, 2022 | ARC Kaduna

DCF and the Art Resource Center (ARC) offers a one-week residency to two (2), solo, young, emerging artists based in Kaduna State whose artistic practice demonstrates a strong commitment to community and storytelling. The residency is built to be artist-centered, and residents determine how they would like to structure their residency (i.e. develop existing or new work, research/write, etc.) with the support of the DCF/ARC Team.

Dance Education and Entrepreneurial Practices Convention (#DEEPCON)

December 17-18, 2021

DEEPCON is a two-day gathering for Kaduna-based emerging dance artists to learn various entrepreneurial tools to advance their careers as dance artists. Artists will be exposed to a variety of opportunities within the profession of dance, learning how to financially sustain arts careers in Kaduna State and globally, create community with other Kaduna-based dancers, and have the opportunity to inter-face with other practitioners throughout the African Diaspora.
